Odoo.sh

Odoo.sh is Odoo's official cloud platform for hosting and managing Odoo databases, where the code lives in a GitHub repository and each branch works as a production, staging or development environment.

The Odoo 20.0 documentation, accessed October 17, 2026, presents it as the official cloud platform for hosting and managing Odoo applications, with a web shell, module dependencies, continuous integration and SSH access. A project is created by signing in with a GitHub account, and each branch of the repository has a stage:

  • Production: one per project; it runs the live database, which is backed up automatically, keeping seven daily, four weekly and three monthly backups.
  • Staging: tests changes on neutralized copies of the production database.
  • Development: spins up a new database with demo data and, by default, runs the unit tests on every commit.

Odoo runs the platform, and the company, or the partner it chooses, manages the code, the branches and who can access each one. Odoo.sh accepts custom modules and apps from the Odoo store, requires the Custom plan of Odoo Enterprise and is billed separately from the license.

How Odoo.sh compares with Odoo Online and on-premise hosting in Odoo 20 is covered in the hosting guide.
