Odoo and Mexican tax (SAT) terms, each defined in one sentence and linked to the guides that use it.

Addenda
An addenda is the optional node of a CFDI, Mexico's electronic invoice, that holds extensions to the SAT format useful to the taxpayer, that is, information the Annex 20 standard does not provide for.
Carta Porte
The Carta Porte is the complement of the CFDI, Mexico's electronic invoice, that adds the goods being moved, their points of origin, stopovers and destination, and the means of transport, whether by road, rail, air or sea.
CFDI
CFDI (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet) is Mexico's electronic invoice: a document built to the structure the SAT, Mexico's tax administration, sets in Annex 20, and certified, or stamped, by the SAT directly or through an authorized certification provider (PAC).
CSD
The CSD (Certificado de Sello Digital, digital seal certificate) is the certificate the SAT, Mexico's tax administration, issues linked to the taxpayer's advanced electronic signature, for the specific purpose of sealing the invoices it issues and fully identifying their information.
DIOT
The DIOT (Declaración Informativa de Operaciones con Terceros, informative return on transactions with third parties) is the return in which a Mexican taxpayer reports its transactions with third parties to the SAT, filed by companies with their password on the SAT's new platform.
MCP server
Odoo's MCP server is the Odoo 20 feature that lets users connect an external AI agent to a database through the Model Context Protocol, an open standard, so that it reads or modifies records with the identity and permissions of the user who connects it.
Odoo Studio
Odoo Studio is the Odoo Enterprise tool for customizing Odoo without coding knowledge, used to add or modify fields, views, models, automation rules, webhooks, PDF reports, approval rules and security rules in any app.
Odoo.sh
Odoo.sh is Odoo's official cloud platform for hosting and managing Odoo databases, where the code lives in a GitHub repository and each branch works as a production, staging or development environment.
PAC
A PAC (Proveedor Autorizado de Certificación, authorized certification provider) is a provider authorized by the SAT, Mexico's tax administration, to certify CFDI: when it assigns the SAT's digital seal to an invoice, that is, when it stamps it, the SAT itself validates the invoice through the PAC.
Pedimento
The pedimento is the Mexican customs document that backs the import of goods, and its fifteen-digit number goes on the CFDI, Mexico's electronic invoice, when those imported goods are sold first-hand.
PUE / PPD
PUE (Pago en una sola exhibición, payment in a single installment) and PPD (Pago en parcialidades o diferido, payment in installments or deferred) are the two payment-method codes of a CFDI, Mexico's electronic invoice: PUE applies when the invoice is paid as it is issued, and PPD when it is issued before it is settled, later in one payment or in installments.
REP (payment complement)
The REP (Recibo Electrónico de Pago, electronic payment receipt) is the CFDI carrying the payment receipt complement that is issued when a Mexican invoice is paid in installments or after it was issued, stating the amount received and identifying the invoice whose balance it settles.
Staging
Staging is the environment where changes are tested on a neutralized copy of the production database before they go live; on Odoo.sh, each staging branch creates that copy from the real data.
